CIBIL Score Fees: What It Costs to Access Your Report

RBI rules entitle every individual to one free CIBIL score and report annually, direct from CIBIL. Beyond that, CIBIL score fetch needs a paid plan: ₹118 one-time for report only (no score), or ₹550 for a 1-month score-and-report subscription, up to roughly ₹1,200 for a 12-month plan.

CRIF Score vs CIBIL Score: Key Differences

CRIF score and CIBIL score are both 3-digit numbers between 300 and 900, issued by two different RBI-licensed credit bureaus. CIBIL is the oldest and most used by banks for personal loans, home loans, and credit cards. CRIF High Mark has deeper data on NBFCs, microfinance, and small-ticket loans. Your two numbers can differ, and that's normal, not an error.

What Is the Lowest Credit Score?

For CIBIL, the lowest numerical score is 300. CIBIL's consumer score ranges from 300 to 900. Other credit bureaus may use their own scoring models and ranges, so don't assume 300 is the universal floor for every bureau, not simply a lack of credit history. That distinction matters, because no history at all shows up differently, as NA or NH, not as 300.

Experian vs CIBIL Score: Are They the Same?

Experian vs CIBIL score comes down to one direct answer: no, they're not the same number, even though both are generally quoted on a 300 to 900 scale, per RBI's licensed bureaus. Experian and TransUnion CIBIL are 2 separate, RBI-licensed credit bureaus, each running its own scoring model on slightly different data, so the same person can show a different number on each.

CIBIL Report Password: How to Find It

Your credit report arrives as an encrypted PDF; a password adds extra protection layer to the downloaded report, which holds sensitive financial and identity data. No single fixed password. Exact format depends where report generated: CIBIL's own site, bank app, or a third-party platform each hand it out differently.

Annual Credit Report: Why It Matters

Annual credit report is the detailed record of your loans, credit cards, and repayment history that every RBI-registered credit bureau must give you once a year, free, on request. It shows lenders exactly what they'll see before they decide on your next loan or credit card. Checking it early means you catch mistakes before they cost you an approval.

Credit Bureau Report: Meaning, Types, and Uses

A credit bureau report is a detailed record kept by a licensed credit information company such as TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, or CRIF High Mark. It lists your loans, credit cards, repayment history, and lender enquiries. Banks and NBFCs read this report to decide whether to approve your loan and at what interest rate.
